Hello! My name is Natalie Paulson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Western Michigan University and my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. I offer individual counseling and couples counseling, and I welcome adults, teens, and children ages 8 and up.
I aim to create a safe and trusting environment where you can feel comfortable speaking openly and being yourself without feeling judged. I believe we are all unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. Therefore, I may use a variety of approaches to best help you reach your goals, such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and/or Emotionally Focused Therapy. I view counseling as a collaborative process from start to finish, and this includes working together to create a plan that feels right for you. I have worked with clients struggling with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational conflict, stress, trauma, grief, identity exploration, self-worth, and anger management. I strive to help clients feel equipped and empowered to navigate the challenges that life throws their way, heal from past hurts, improve their relationships with themselves and others, and cultivate a lifestyle that brings more fulfillment. When you are ready, I invite you to reach out so that we can take the next steps in your journey towards positive change. I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance and can provide a superbill if you'd like to try for out of network benefits. |
