Welcome to Kool Counseling!
Life can feel chaotic and crazy, which can lead to us feeling out of sorts and out of control. When we feel out of control, we lack confidence in our ability to handle things and often end up frustrated, overwhelmed, and anxious. When we feel more in control, our confidence and tolerance for stress and the unexpected increases. Many of us get stuck letting go of the person we thought we would be, should be, or were supposed to be. We find ourselves spinning our wheels and stuck in a rut, feeling like we are banging our heads against the wall because we can't seem to change. Our thoughts start getting clouded thinking, "This is just the way I am," or "Something must be wrong with me, no one else seems to struggle with this." Well you are not alone!
Maybe you are here because you have been thinking about getting into therapy for a while and you wanted to check us out and gather some more information. Or maybe you are here because things aren't great and something has got to change but you aren't quite sure what. Either way, we'd be happy to help you figure things out and make sense of what you truly desire. We want to empower you! This may look different for many. Whether it be to reconnect with yourself, work through difficult experiences and traumas, understand certain patterns you have that make you feel stuck, and / or start directing your energy toward a life worth living with your whole heart. Just reach out to us through the contact button or check out our frequently asked questions page. We'll be happy to help answer any questions from wondering what therapy with us might be like, whether we take your insurance and how that all works, to who might be a great fit for you based on what you have going on. We look forward to hearing from you!
All of our therapists here at Kool Counseling believe you are the expert of you, so we make sure to spend time getting to know you and developing a treatment plan with you that will help you succeed in what you are hoping to achieve by making this investment in yourself. We offer individual therapy for children, teens, and adults, as well as marriage counseling, family counseling, and occasionally group counseling. We also offer a variety of perspectives and treatment techniques aimed at meeting you where you are at and walking alongside you in this journey. Check out our therapist page to get to know our therapists and what might working with them might be like. If you aren't sure which therapist is for you or could see yourself working with all of them, just reach out to us on our contact page! Describe what you are going through and we'd be happy to match you with someone that fits your specialty or availability best .

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care could cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
